Retro Series Drums
This exciting new hybrid shell combination of Cherry and Gumwood produces a sound that is reminiscent of “Vintage Ludwig”, while possessing a fresh modern sound at the same time. The end result incorporates the best sonic qualities from both worlds, offering a bright, focused attack along with resonance and sustain. Cherry is a very dense wood which brings out a bright, high end attack. Core plies of Gumwood enhance the mid to low end tones resulting in a warm and balanced sound. The shells are 7mm with a slightly rounded bearing edge with inner, outer, and center plies of Cherry and core plies of Gumwood.
