Kjos JB67 Down East Fanfare for Concert Band
Written for the Maine Music Educators Association, Down East Fanfare is named after the local nickname for that area of the country. The work is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Martin Mailman, longtime professor of composition at the University of North Texas in Denton. This superb fanfare's opening motive is inspired by one of Dr. Mailman's final works.
